We are having trouble
getting the quality in wool
felt we want.
We are not sure how much
longer we will be able to
offer wool hats
As our inventory sells
down we may not be able
to replace that felt.
No problem on quality fur
felts. They are better
anyway.
We want pictures of
customers in our

Quigley
hat.

Regardless of how you feel about the war in Iraq Berkeley has
taken a position against the military and the Marine Corps in
particular, and if it weren't for the marines those people
wouldn't have the right to be hippies.

"Best Living Hat Maker"

We were, again, readers choice
for this category and appreciate
knowing that our customers think
so highly of our hats.

Thanks to all who voted.
Our "custom hat maker" Bill Knudsen of Knudsen hats was voted "Best Living
Hatmaker  two years in a row by the readers of True West magazine for his hand
formed custom hats.
Each custom cowboy hat is hand formed in our Pleasant Hill store. We can make
any John Wayne or Clint Eastwood hat. We replicate all the cowboy hats from
Tombstone. We make cowboy hats you can't find anywhere else including the
authentic Boss of the Plains (the first Stetson cowboy hat ever made), we not
only block them accurately, but we make them on actual Stetson felt.
Unlike many "custom cowboy hat" companies each custom hat is hand formed. This
allows us to put curves into our hats that are impossible to duplicate with presses and
forms. We utilize both old and new custom made hat tools and genuine know-how to
create custom hats that are distinct, and high in quality without a huge price tag.
