This will come with an even center ridge but if you want it lop-sided (like
John Wayne's in some scenes) just ask.

Comes with 3 strand braided leather band wrapped twice (as in the
movie) and a leather thong stampede string. In the first movie, True Grit,
Wayne had the ribbon under the braided leather band. In the 2nd movie
he did not have the ribbon band. I like it without. We will leave it off
unless you express otherwise. The brim will have a ribbon bound edge.

We highly recommend trail dust on this hat, at least the regular stains.
