Festus and Stumpy, beloved characters both! Festus often had his
crown crushed irregularly while Stumpy (Walter Brennan) wore his crown
open as shown. We offer this hat with a softened crown so that you can
poke and smoosh it the way you want, or choose Firm. The crown can be
crushable but the brim is left firm to hold that form.
This is not a lightweight felt. This is the same heavy felt as on all our hats.
The 4X Furfelts feel more like 6X! And these will have a 4 1/4" brim.
